TXGAP
provides informational adoption events nearly every weekend,
at one or more location. The adoption
events allow
the Greyhounds to help each other by simply being themselves
in public and showing people who they are. These four
hour events are held on Saturdays and/or Sundays. The
set up consists of Greyhounds, volunteers, a small table
with handouts about adopting a Greyhound, a donation jar,
items for sale, and a sign or two. This is a "greyt"
way to interact with the hounds TXGAP has available
for adoption. If you own a Greyhound, you can help
by bringing your Greyhound(s) to adoption
events in
your area, if even for a short time. Your Greyhound(s)
is able to be a sales hound and allows all the greys a
chance to socialize with each other.
